Realistic expectations

What results can you realistically expect?

Starting weight, health, medicines, food intake, movement, sleep, stress, consistency and length of follow-up can all affect progress.

Gradual progress

Public-health guidance often describes approximately 0.5–0.9 kg per week as a gradual pace for many adults. This is general information, not a personal prediction.

Progress is more than one scale reading

Useful indicators may include body-weight trend, waist measurements, hunger, meal consistency, energy, unplanned eating and confidence with portions.

Why MNT does not promise “lose 5 kg in one month”

A fixed promise ignores individual health and may encourage unnecessary restriction. One client’s result cannot predict another person’s outcome.

Dietitian-led, team-supported care

Medical input when a nutrition case needs it

Nutrition support may accompany care for PCOS, diabetes, thyroid conditions, digestive concerns, fatty liver, high cholesterol or high blood pressure. When a relevant medical question arises, the assigned dietitian can request internal input from Dr. Bilal Amin, MBBS, while keeping the nutrition service within its proper scope.

Tell MNT before payment

  • Diagnosed conditions and current symptoms
  • Medicines, supplements and physician-led treatment
  • Relevant reports already available to you
  • Pregnancy, breastfeeding or eating-disorder concerns
  • Recent unexplained or rapid weight change

MNT nutrition professionals do not:

  • Diagnose the cause of weight change
  • Prescribe medicine or weight-loss injections
  • Start, stop or change medicine
  • Replace a physician or specialist
  • Provide emergency treatment
What this team-based pathway means

The dietitian remains responsible for nutrition assessment and guidance. Dr. Bilal’s opinion may be requested when clinically relevant, and MNT may recommend direct assessment by the client’s own physician or another specialist when needed.

Common booking questions

Online dietitian and nutritionist consultation FAQs

Clear answers about online consultations, diet plans, fees, female dietitian requests, medical review and availability across Pakistan.

What is an online dietitian or nutritionist consultation?

It is a virtual one-to-one nutrition session in which an MNT professional reviews your goal, relevant health information, eating pattern, routine, preferences and barriers. Written planning and follow-up support depend on the package you select.

How much does an MNT online nutrition consultation cost?

Consultation Only costs Rs. 1,000. Consultation + Diet Plan costs Rs. 2,500. Complete Monthly Support costs Rs. 5,000 and includes a written plan, two follow-ups, progress monitoring and suitable adjustments.

What is the difference between a dietitian, nutritionist and dietician?

People often use these terms interchangeably, and “dietician” is a common spelling variant of dietitian. Qualifications and professional scope can differ, so MNT publishes each team member’s education, registration where available, experience, languages and areas of work.

Can I choose a dietitian?

You may request a published MNT professional or ask the team to match you. Final assignment depends on service fit, verified scope, language needs, current availability and the information you share.

Can I request a female dietitian or nutritionist?

Yes. You may state your preference when booking. MNT has published female team members, but assignment depends on suitability, professional scope, language and current availability.

Does Dr. Bilal Amin review every weight-loss case?

No. The assigned dietitian may request Dr. Bilal Amin’s internal opinion when a relevant medical question arises. This does not replace a direct physician consultation, diagnosis, prescription or treatment.

Will I receive a personalized Pakistani diet plan?

A written personalized plan is included in Consultation + Diet Plan and Complete Monthly Support. It is not included in Consultation Only. Planning begins with assessment and may use familiar foods such as roti, rice, daal, chana, eggs, chicken, yogurt, vegetables, fruit and home-cooked meals.

Will I have to stop eating roti or rice?

Not automatically. Familiar foods can fit many weight-management plans when portions, preparation, meal balance, frequency and total intake are appropriate.

Can I attend in Urdu, Punjabi or Saraiki?

Published team languages include English, Urdu, Punjabi and Saraiki, but language matching depends on the assigned professional and availability. State your preference when booking.

Can I book if I have PCOS, diabetes or a thyroid condition?

Ask MNT to check service fit before paying. Some medically stable adults may receive nutrition support alongside physician care. Complex, unstable or undiagnosed concerns may require medical assessment or a different pathway.

Does MNT prescribe weight-loss medicine or injections?

No. This is a nutrition service. MNT nutrition professionals do not prescribe, start, stop or change medicine or injections.

How much weight can I lose in one month?

No exact amount can be promised before assessment. Health, starting weight, medicines, intake, movement, sleep, stress, consistency and follow-up all affect progress. MNT focuses on gradual, sustainable change.

Is the service available in my city?

The service is online and available to eligible adults across Pakistan, subject to suitability and availability. You can request it from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Gilgit or another city.

Choose the right level of help

Not sure which package fits your needs?

Ask MNT before paying. The team can explain the consultation-only, written-plan and complete monthly-support options and check whether the service is suitable.
